Additional Information

Mike is a freelance trainer/consultant who is passionate about releasing potential through learning and development. With a varied career, Mike specialises in training topics as diverse as: communication and personal effectiveness; leadership and management; diversity and health and social care. He uses a range of interactive training techniques built upon adult learning principles, brain-friendly and accelerated learning. Since he co-founded a charity in Wales, Mike has worked mainly in the charity sector in health/social care (including HIV, mental health and dementia). At the national charity Dementia UK, he was responsible for managing a team of trainers and staff and overseeing the department’s development. He later joined the SMT at Directory of Social Change delivering a range of public and in-house training courses. He works across London, the UK and internationally.
