Nigel Siederer has been a voluntary sector consultant for 7 years as 'Good Foundations Consultancy' - specialising in governance and funding issues, and also undertaking research, writing, and facilitation. Recent clients are listed above, notably including Capacitybuilders in 2006, for whom he led a team of consultants analysing the local IIPs. Nigel worked with grant-making trusts for 12 years as first chief executive of the Association of Charitable Foundations, which produced an array of support services and publications eg Guidelines for Funders of Voluntary Organisations. His long association with infrastructure and umbrella organisations includes directing the Local Development Agencies Fund (ChangeUp's predecessor), leading the pioneering Lambeth Umbrella Group of local advice centres.
